Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Jamie Sayers was born and raised in the Bay Area and earned her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant University in the Child and Family track. She has been working in community-based settings for 14 years and thrives when helping underserved communities. Dr. Sayers has also been a clinical supervisor for over 4 years where she has been an integral part of helping new clinicians find their clinical identity.

As a clinician, Dr. Sayers excels when working with children and their families. She has a kid-at-heart attitude and isn’t afraid to get down on the ground and play. She is well-trained in play-therapy techniques and interventions for children and their families. She is creative and finds interesting and meaningful ways of connecting with young people. Her overarching goal is to help clients gain a sense of autonomy in their lives and feel successful in achieving their goals. In addition to her direct service and supervisor roles, Dr. Sayers has been a program manager responsible for the delivery of services to both children and adults, and therefore is deeply attuned to the needs of clients seeking services. Dr. Sayers also maintains a preventative focus in collaborating and outreaching to reduce stigma and increase access to services for people of color.
